20 Arl 98 - Hacking Stopped.

Recently I have also stopped hacking. I ponder on the real motives of such actions, the freedom of information is only a valid cause when the info should be available and is not. <more philosophical questioning> etc etc.

20 Arl 98 - Work Stopped (!)

Work on the disassembler stopped. It's currently not happening as I don't have the time to continue it. My appologies. If I ever get time to continue the project I will. You may be able to expect a release for Rhapsody.

23 Sep 97 - Assembly Mash v3 - dribble!

Version 3 (I've skipped v2) will have: All Symbol info, PEF Container Header, Section Headers, Loader Header, Hex Editor, Standard Mac behaviour (Save, Print etc), PPC Assembler. Sound good? :)

29 June 97 - PPC Disassembler v2 Prerelease

The current status of my PPC disassembler: It's now known as 'Assembly Mash' to stop any confusion with another program known as PPC Disassembler, which I must say has nice fetures but crashes too often and is a little ugly. So, with version 2 you can brows and print the disassembled code. You can't yet edit it, but you can't save it as text. It's getting there. KnOwledge Phreak - The KOP Web site. You can find loads of interesting hacking related information, especially for the Mac Yay! as well as some Phreaking info. (Mac only)

Hacks and Cracks - A very good resource area - This place is for both Mac and PC, and what's more its got loads of it too.

Phrack - A good hacking magazine on the net, it's up to date, and informative.

The Killer's Page - This is a home page with a great hacking area. You can information on hacking for beginners and hacker's alike. Definitely worth a visit.

The Weasel's - This is my current favorite hacking page, a fantastic resource centre which also produces a Mac hacking zine - definitly worth bookmarking. (Mac only)

PPC Disassembler 1.0.sit.hqx [Mac, 26k] this will convert a PPC App's code into the equvalent PPC assembly and save it as a text file.

Computer Crime Investigation(ClarisWorksFormat in sit.hqx) [57k] This is my Higher Investigation: 40 page investigation into computer crime. It doesn't really say that much for what it got ( 98% :) but it may be of some use to people investigating hacking or taking Highers ;) (Word Format, zipped)[21k]

Cracking 96 v1.2 [18k] by Morrin Hackers and Mr Wood, this is a good introduction to program hacking on the Mac, it teaches you in a tutorial style to crack by using Realmz 3.0.1 as an example. (ClarisWorks3 format)

Assembly For Cracking [169k] by the Shepherd, this document, although a little out of date, is still useful for beginner 68k assembly program hackers. The other big advantage it has is that it contains a list of 68k assembly instructions. (ClarisWorks3 format)

How to Crack [16k] by the Vassel, is an excellent introduction to hacking on the Mac, even though it is out of date. It also introduces MacsBug which is useful for beginners. (ClarisWorks3 format)
